Privacy Policy
At Pro Merita, the protection of your personal information is important. We take seriously the way in which your personal information is collected, used, maintained and shared. In compliance with the Government of BC's Personal Information Protection Act, parental consent is required for the release of personal information for the following purposes:
- for registration with Self Design Learning Community for the purposes of academic records and maintenance. (Please note that this release of information is mandatory in order to participate in the academic program.)
- for media and publicity purposes, the photographs of individual students or groups of students may be taken and published with names to promote the Pro Merita Academy Program, commemorate events, festivals, competitions or other events. Full disclosure of such use by Pro Merita Academy will be provided.
In cases other than those identified above, be assured that all personal information is held in confidence and used exclusively for the purposes of Pro Merita Academy's management. No personal information will be released to a third party unless required to by law or in the case of an emergency that threatens the life, health or security of an individual.
